• My children’s book about food “I want to eat”

It all started with small sketches as a joke, and I thought it would be an excellent idea for a little flap book. Funnily, I really enjoyed exploring different foods and their possible reactions. Always with that paper doll aspect that I love so much, I decided to make the objects manipulable so that the child could not only read the book but also play with it for real. The reactions from the children were truly adorable, and I loved seeing them constantly playing with this little character. What I wanted to create for this project was not only a book but an experience. And it worked so well. The children were asking about this little boy as a toy, and they enjoyed playing with the ingredients and their reactions. Actually, they played a lot with it and it’s still a hit! And they also talk about food and the possible reactions in our bodies. I wish I could find an easy solution to print this one and share it with more children.

  • A little trip to London

Hi! 💕 How are you doing so far? I wanted to share some pictures of my last trip to London. I drew a big backpack for the occasion and wanted to write a story about this magical girl.✨ As you can see, she has a very big backpack and she carries all her magical potions and materials with her. For the moment, I only have a few pictures, and I don’t know if I will use them. But I still love this idea, so I will write it down, and when this idea’s time comes, I’ll be ready! 💕 I met very nice people when I took my pictures, and sharing this passion with others was delightful. I want to change my camera 📸 but don’t know yet which one to choose. Too many choices 😅 Do you have an excellent camera to recommend?

  • Magical girl! Always and forever

Hi! How are you today? 😄 I went out with my children this morning and wanted to go to the forest with them. But we’ve stayed a long time watching and feeding ducks around the lake close to our place. 🦆 After that, my little one wanted to continue to bike, as she had just started! It’s still hard for her to stop and start, but except for these little details, she bikes! Here is a little character that I’ve painted with ink and watercolor. I did it for a challenge hosted by Poopikat, a great artist I love. I’ve painted it on a super small sketchbook that I have and as I loved it, I’ve scanned it and decided to give a digital touch to my initial painting. So I added more colors, a colorful background, and small details with colored pencils. You can find this illustration as an A4 poster in my Shop.

  • Let’s paint with a minimalist watercolor palette

For several months, I’ve decided to work with a minimalist watercolor palette. When I first started painting, I had a wide range of different colors and was quite afraid to mix them. So, every time I wanted to try something new, I bought new colors. However, I felt the need to align my artistic practice with my way of life and how I perceive things in general. Simultaneously, I wanted to create coherence in the colors I used without restricting myself from exploring others. I initially had a Winsor & Newton box, but I recently switched to a smaller one that I found at a craft shop in Denmark called Panduro. It’s not perfect for mixing colors, so I use a palette made by my husband. Here are the colors I use and mix in all my paintings: ✨ Chinese white: I like to use this one to create pastel colors. ✨ Cadmium yellow: I love how this color shines. ✨ Permanent rose: very luminous. ✨ Cadmium red deep hue: this color is very intense and feels like Christmas red to me. ✨ Yellow ochre: one of my favorites; I love to mix it with green and red to create a more natural color. ✨ Hooker’s green light: very intense, like a Christmas tree or a dark forest. ✨ Turquoise: a magical blue for me. ✨ Cerulean blue: very light, like a beautiful sky. ✨ Indigo: I love the intensity of this color. I like to use it instead of black for the hair. ✨ Sepia: I was searching for the perfect brown, and this one is the ideal match for me. What colors do you have in your watercolor palette?
